Scope of application

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.restaurant-minneci.de.

Voluntary commitment

The restaurant MINNECI is a small business as defined by the European Union's SME definition. According to current legislation (BFSG – Barrier-Free Accessibility Act), small and medium-sized enterprises are not required to make their websites barrier-free.

Nevertheless, it is important to us to provide all guests—regardless of their individual abilities—with the most barrier-free access possible to our online information. We are therefore continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website.

Accessibility status

Our website is partially accessible. Some content and functions are not yet optimally usable for people with disabilities. An independent audit in August 2025 found that approximately 77% of Level A requirements and around 66% of Level AA requirements are met.

Where are there still barriers today?

• Some images are missing alternative text.
• The color contrasts are insufficient in some cases.
• Not all functions can be fully operated using the keyboard or have visible focus indicators.
• Repeated content blocks cannot be skipped directly; navigation is not always optimal for screen readers.
• Form instructions and labels are not always clear and understandable.
• The language of the website is not always technically correct.
• The logical structure of the content is not consistent throughout.

We are aware of these issues and are working to improve accessibility step by step.

This statement was created on August 8, 2025 based on an external accessibility audit.

Planned measures

We are voluntarily working to improve the accessibility of our website, for example by:

• Add missing alternative text for images,
• improvement of color contrasts,
• optimization of keyboard usability and focus indicators,
• clearer and more understandable error messages in forms,
• technical storage of the page language,
• and simplification of navigation for screen reader users.
